Columbia Law School Profiles Eric Rosen’s Path From Prosecutor to Founding Partner at Dynamis LLP
Dynamis LLP co-founder Eric Rosen was recently featured by Columbia Law School in a profile tracing his journey from federal prosecutor to launching one of the nation’s leading white-collar defense firms.
As an assistant U.S. attorney, Rosen led the government’s investigation into the college admissions scandal known as “Operation Varsity Blues,” which exposed how wealthy parents used fraud and bribery to secure spots for their children at elite universities. The case became the largest college admissions conspiracy ever prosecuted by the Justice Department, resulting in dozens of convictions and widespread national attention.
In the Columbia Law article, Rosen reflects on how that experience shaped his career trajectory. After more than a decade in public service, he partnered with Constantine Economides to launch Dynamis LLP, a litigation boutique intentionally built without their names on the door to allow the firm to grow beyond its founders.
The piece highlights Rosen’s entrepreneurial spirit, dating back to his Harvard days, and his commitment to bringing that same drive to the complex world of white-collar criminal defense and high-stakes civil litigation.
