Based in Dynamis’ New York office, Casandra’s practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, white collar defense, and government and internal investigations. She has experience representing financial institutions and other institutional clients in federal and state court proceedings, including trial and appellate matters.

Prior to joining Dynamis LLP, Casandra was a litigation associate at Ropes & Gray LLP in both the New York and Boston offices. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served as Co-President of La Alianza. During law school, Casandra interned in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York and externed in the Child Protection Unit of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office. She earned her B.A. in Psychology, summa cum laude, from St. John’s University.

Casandra’s engagements include:
Represented a global investment bank in complex cross-border arbitration and related award enforcement proceedings before the Southern District of New York, the Second Circuit, and various foreign jurisdictions.
Served on the trial team in a federal antitrust bench trial, drafting pretrial filings, managing trial exhibits and the order of proof, and assisting with trial strategy.
Served on the trial team in a state-court employment discrimination jury trial, drafting witness examinations and appellate filings.
Defended a university against negligence-based claims in litigation resulting in the dismissal of multiple claims before trial, including briefing dismissal, class certification, and discovery motions.
Represented investment banks in third-party subpoena matters relating to their advisory roles in take-private and reclassification transactions, including preparing corporate representatives for Rule 30(b)(6) depositions.
Conducted sensitive internal investigations for institutional clients involving allegations of misconduct, abuse, and regulatory violations, including NCAA violations, developing investigation plans, conducting witness interviews, and managing document review and production.
