Across-the-Board Victory in Securing Temporary Restraining Order

May 9, 2025: After Dynamis’ client, a Chicago-based law firm, was the target of a RICO complaint in the Eastern District of New York, Dynamis attorneys went to work. This RICO complaint could have resulted in massive damages against our client. However, in a manner of just weeks, Dynamis attorneys filed a complaint in federal district court in the District of New Jersey and secured a Temporary Restraining Order on behalf of the client, who had been facing a potential judgment of tens of millions of dollars. The Court’s opinion was a complete and total victory for our client. Notably, this victory was achieved against multiple “BigLaw” firms who most likely dwarfed our clients’ legal spend. Instead, the “BigLaw” firm was ordered to show cause why sanctions should not be issued against them.
